While there are a few flaws and omissions in this booklet, it is the best
"owners manual" that I have ever seen supplied with a new bicycle. The instructions
in this booklet present a concise foundation for the repair and maintenance
of three speed bicycles that were made in England by many companies over a
period of many years. While there are other arguably better methods to some
of those presented in this booklet, such as the page on crank cotter pin
removal, all of the methods presented here have been used successfully by
owners and mechanics for years.
