There are a lot of websites about vintage three speed bicycles and
not so many about the new three speed bicycles. Of course that's
probably normal because there are probably a lot more vintage three
speed bicycles than
new ones. Three speed bicycles have been around for about 100 years.
Below
are links to both vintage three speeds and new three speeds, separated
as
much as possible by type and listed in the order, within groups, that I
found them. (OK, I admit it. Sometimes I find a link after someone
shows
it to me.) If you would like to make suggestions for additional links
please
email me at jmvernooy@hotmail.com
. Your suggestions may or may not be used. I have a definite
preference
for European three speeds, especially those that are made in England
and
use a Sturmey Archer three speed hub. That will be reflected by the
links
that I have listed and will list.
